The Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) signs a cooperation agreement with Orange Egypt to promote digital transformation, e-education, and smart electronic services.
The agreement comes within the framework of the Egyptian strategy to enhance constructive cooperation and utilize national manufacturing capabilities that implement Egypt’s Sustainable Development Strategy: Egypt vision 2030.
Seeking to push forward efforts to realize inclusive development, the cooperation deal will promote digital transformation in several sectors, ministries, governorates, educational institutions, hospitals, in addition to transportation projects and smart roads.
Additionally, the protocol entails establishing and equipping data centers and various communication networks “Wi-Fi and Fiber”, distance education applications and programs (E-learning – LMS – Tablets).
AOI Chairman Lieutenant General Abdel Moneim el Terras praised Orange Egypt’s expertise in the field of communications, information technology, and digital transformation while highlighting Orange Egypt’s highly qualified teams and their capabilities in dealing with the latest advanced technologies.
Terras noted that the Arab Organization for Industrialization monitors the implementation of several projects in Egypt, as well as in African and Arab countries, in the fields of Digital Transformation, ICT and e-learning. He also highlighted that this cooperation will create many job opportunities for young engineers and technicians.
For his part, Orange Egypt CEO Eng. Yasser Shaker hailed the constructive cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, which is an Egyptian, Arab and international organization as it is considered the industrial backbone of the state for localizing technology and digital transformation,
He also commended the role of the Arab Industrialization and its expertise in implementing various industrial and economic development projects in accordance with the Fourth Industrial Revolution standards.
Shaker said that Orange Egypt is proud of being the first operator and partner for the Arab Organization for Industrialization in this regard.
He added that this joint cooperation will contribute to the localization of the latest modern technologies in digital transformation applications, e-education, communication and information systems in accordance with international quality standards based on Orange’s local and international expertise and qualified cadres that can provide, manage and operate all services with high quality and efficiency.
