The United Nations initiative focuses on three of the five priorities of the 2020 Global Education meeting Declaration: supporting teachers; investing in skills; and narrowing the digital divide.
Building on the established partnership of E9 countries allows Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Nigeria and Pakistan the opportunity to benefit from this global initiative and accelerate progress on digital learning and skills towards the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education.
The inception meeting taking place on April 6 is a Consultation of Ministers of Education. It will discuss the co-creation of the Digital Learning initiative by the nine countries.
