Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi said the ministry is engaged in implementing sustainable development initiatives and is encouraging youth to participate in the political process.
The Youth and Sports Ministry also backs small and medium sized enterprises and plays a pivotal role in upskilling youths, promotes innovation and offers all needed services to people, he said, noting that the ministry also works on entrenching the spirit of patriotism and loyalty among youths.
He referred to the national project for discovering talented youths with an aim to get them engaged in training programs promoting their talents.
He made the remarks on Monday during the 10th annual Forum for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable Development – known as CSR Forum – which was held under the theme of “Responsible Investment Gate for Recovering and Overcoming Crises.”
Sobhi noted that sustainable development is at the top of the Egyptian government’s agenda which is meant to serve Egypt Vision 2030.
He added that the government seeks to accomplish Egypt Vision 2030 in view of political, economic and social changes, underlining the support of the political leadership, topped by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, for the sustainable development and the 2030 strategy.
