The three winning ideas of the Reboot Health and Wellbeing Challenge will be announced digitally on July 7.
Three winning ideas in the challenge were selected out of 140 innovative ideas submitted from around the world, covering important issues such as mental health, education, information empowerment, sexual health, and drug abuse.
During the event, World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and other experts will tackled the future of young people’s health and wellbeing.
Over one million young people die each year from preventable causes. Backed by innovative thinking and the technological revolution, together we can solve these issues. It’s time to unleash creativity and innovative spirit to reboot young people’s health and wellbeing.
In March 2020, the WHO, supported by the United Nations Office of Information and Communications Technology (UN-OICT), UNAIDS, the World Food Program (WFP) and UNICEF launched Reboot Health & Wellbeing – Keeping Young People Safe, inspiring young people from around the world to develop solutions to one of the most urgent health challenges for the next decade: Keeping young people safe.
Participants in the digital event will also have the chance to explore the unique health problems young people face and solutions to address them.
