Germany has allocated EUR 90 million to bolster efforts of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to prevent crises and conflicts, sustain peace, protect human rights, and address the root causes of fragility.
This contribution marks a 10% rise in Germany’s allocations for the UNDP compared to 2023.
This substantial investment is a testament to Germany’s steadfast commitment to UNDP’s mission and reflects the UNDP’s shared values and common priorities such as stabilization, conflict prevention, and early recovery.
The contribution will help bolster UNDP’s efforts UNDP deeply appreciates its partnership with Germany and looks forward to continued support and collaboration in advocating for accelerated action at pivotal moments in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, including in the context of the upcoming Hamburg Sustainability Conference (HSC).
