CSR Arabia has restructured its board to include national expertise to promote its efforts to realize Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).
CSR Arabia unveiled its five-year strategic plan (from 2020 to 2025) which is meant to move forward from adopting Sustainable Development Goals into putting them into effect.
The company’s strategic plan aims at turning the concept of sustainability into a pivotal industry and a main catalyst of the national economy.
The company will attain these objectives through spreading awareness among companies about the importance of integrating sustainability strategies into their businesses in order to go in line with the state’s national plans for sustainable development.
Serving this ambitious plan, CSR Arabia has restructured its board to include a number of national expertise capable of implementing this strategy.
The company is keen to have under its roof experts in various vital sectors which are the main catalyst of the national economy and contribute to pushing forward the march of development.
The company’s board now comprises experts in the industrial domain; namely ALLWEILER-FARID PUMPS Chairman Hossam Farid and Managing Partner of the Egyptian Consulting & Trading Co. Ltd. (ECTRA) Ahmed Mashhour.
The company’s board also includes former chairman of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) Mohsen Adel and Deputy Chairman of Chemonics Egypt Shadi Gaber who are experts in the capital market and investment scores.
CSR Arabia board also includes experts in the construction and engineering fields; namely Omar Saber, deputy board chairman of Hussein Sabbour Consultant Bureau, and DR Niveen Abdel Khaleq, Vice President of the Engineering Consultants Group and Chairperson of the Sustainable Development Committee of the Egyptian Business Association.
Amr Elseginy, CEO of the LVNG Educational Environments, has also become a member of CSR Arabia board alongside Basem Kalila, board chairman of Kalila Business Group; Shereen Shaheen, Head of Microsoft Regional Corporate Affairs for North Africa , Pakistan, Levant and Egypt; Ehab Shalaby, Chairman of DCarbon Egypt; and Mohamed Nader, CEO of Archer Finance.
The board also includes CSR Arabia Founder Hassan Moustafa who is an expert in the business development domain.
The board has been restructured to include all these experts in order to realize a leap in the Egyptian market, promote the state’s sustainable development plans and encourage the private sector to adopt innovative strategies and, hence, build a sustainable business model.
Moreover, the board will buttress sustainable development ideas and initiatives and encourage interaction through holding conferences and workshops to realize integration among the state plans, the private sector and the civil society.
CSR Arabia will work on spearheading a number of initiatives that would help disseminate awareness about sustainable development, support small and medium sized enterprises and promote the concept of entrepreneurship.
The company’s initiatives will also enhance transformation from informal economy to formal economy to give momentum to the Egyptian investment map and help achieve balanced development nationwide in order to realize sustainable economic growth.
