Abdellatif Olama, CEO of Jumia Egypt, said freelancers play a crucial role in the operational framework of Jumia Egypt, expounding how they contribute to Jumia’s success.
He said they offer a competitive advantage to Jumia by quickly meeting the needs of citizens across various geographical areas. He pointed out that only freelancers can effectively reach all villages in different Egyptian governorates.
He reviewed the challenges associated with relying on freelancers, explaining that Jumia always needs to depend on trained freelancers who are familiar with Jumia’s systems and software to ensure that services are delivered at the required level.
Olama made the remarks during the third Egypt Business Solutions Forum under the theme “Creativity is the Key to Sustainability”. The event is sponsored by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouli, along with the ministries of Environment, Youth, and Sports, as well as the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones.
