Amr El Abd, CEO of Endeavor Egypt, said there are about 40 startups achieving annual revenues exceeding dlrs 1.5 billion and the number of their employees is 4,000-5,000, thus offering a chance of competitiveness of the Egyptian economy.
He made the remarks during the Second Egypt Business Solutions Summit which kicked off on Monday under the theme of “Fill the Gap” with the participation of Ministers Yasmine Fouad of Environment and Soha Gendi of Emigration.
El Abd noted that the Egyptian market should have grand investment funds, adding that the state is capable of taking this step.
