Samsung Electronics has received multiple honors at the IFA Innovation Awards 2026 for its latest home appliances, highlighting the company’s push to combine AI, smart design, and engineering to deliver more efficient and personalized household solutions.
The Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner won in the Best in Design category and was also named an honoree in Best in Home Appliances, while two Bespoke AI refrigerator models received additional honors.
The Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner uses AI-powered features to personalize cooling while reducing unnecessary airflow.
Its AI Motion Wind technology uses a radar sensor to adapt airflow based on users’ movements and preferences, while three Motion Wings provide different airflow patterns.
The WindFree Wearable Good Sleep feature can connect to a compatible wearable device and use body signals to automatically adjust cooling according to the user’s sleep state.
The air conditioner’s Grid Design is also intended to blend into modern interiors, reducing the visual footprint of functional components.
The Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub was named an honoree in the Best in Design category.
Its AI Vision feature uses an internal camera to recognize food placed inside or removed from the refrigerator, helping users track use-by dates and receive recipe recommendations through the SmartThings Food app.
The refrigerator also features Auto Open Door, which enables hands-free access through voice commands or a touch.
The Bespoke AI Refrigerator was recognized in the Best in Home Appliances category for its space-efficient design and cooling technology.
It can be installed with gaps of just 4 millimeters on each side and 20 millimeters at the top, allowing it to integrate into existing cabinetry.
Its zero-clearance hinge enables the doors to open fully in tight spaces, while thinner doors and SpaceMax technology increase interior capacity without expanding the appliance’s external dimensions.
The refrigerator’s AI Hybrid Cooling technology combines a compressor with a Peltier element to enhance cooling efficiency.
The combination reflects Samsung’s focus on integrating AI and engineering into appliances to improve everyday performance while supporting more efficient use of household resources.
The IFA Innovation Awards recognize technology and product innovation across the global industry.
