Haytham Torkey, Managing Partner at United Accountants – a member of Nexia International, highlighted that idea is the main cause behind the success of any company; there is no business model without an idea.
Torkey said the major challenge facing entrepreneurs is the lack of a solid foundation for the idea from which the company is born, in addition to failure to ensure the idea’s viability.
He expounded that the role of the institution is to receive the idea and place it within an appropriate framework for implementation, which involves conducting thorough research and securing the suitable funding to execute the project idea.
He underscored that planning for the project is crucial for bolstering the company and rendering it successful, adding that it is essential to pay attention to the volume of investment spending.
He stated that a brand is not just a logo or a location for the company; it is, however, about creating a mental image in the customer’s mind.
Torkey explained that many brands have not survived due to lack of planning for their sustainability from the very beginning.
He made the remarks during the third Egypt Business Solutions Summit, under the theme of “Creativity is the Key to Sustainability”. The event is held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouli, along with the ministries of Environment, Youth, and Sports, as well as the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI).
