SODIC annual charity run to support Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation

The annual charity run of SODIC, the leading real estate developer, will support this year the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation and the world-renowned work it undertakes at the Aswan Heart Center.

The event – slated for September 15th, from 7 am to 12 pm – is held at SODIC West and organized by The TriFactory.

This year’s marathon is set to feature runners taking part in their choice of the three distances available: a 10K, a 5K, and a 3K Fun Run. With racecourses that feature the best of SODIC West, including the Allegria Golf Course, Club S Westown, and much more, the SODIC Charity Run is perfect for the whole family and suitable for runners of all ages and abilities.

Ayman Amer, SODIC’s General Manager, commented on the charity run saying “We are very excited to host this year’s annual charity run at our flagship SODIC West, taking our runners through a diverse, scenic and engaging route. It is an honor to support the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation as part of our continuous effort to give back to our community.”

This year’s beneficiary was the charity partner at the first-ever SODIC Charity Run in 2017 and was also a partner of The TriFactory’s in the organization of the Aswan Marathon, a major running event organized in Aswan in 2017 and 2018.
