Sawiris Foundation names three winners of SACS
The Sawiris Foundation for Social Development has announced the three winners of the Sawiris Arts and Culture Scholarship (SACS).
Noran el Khatib is one of the winners and she will engage in MA study at London Film School of the University of Exeter.
Israa Youssef also won SACS and will get the bachelor degree from the School of the Art, Institute of Chicago.
Abdel Rahman el Telyawi will engage in MA studies in architecture at the University College of London.
SACS is a long awaited opportunity for future artists seeking quality education abroad to enrich their talents in the vast field of the arts and culture.
The Sawiris Arts and Culture Scholarship program targets highly motivated, talented and socially engaged applicants, who are aware of the important role art plays in a flourishing and developing society.
It aims at fostering these talents until they themselves are effective artists in the scene, who in return enrich their country and society with their acquired knowledge in their designated fields.
