Philips Egypt presented all-out and integrated artificial intelligence (AI) solutions at the 1st Africa Health ExCon – which is held in Egypt on June 5-7 under the auspices of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The solutions focus on the fields of radiology, cardiology, oncology and intensive care.
Philips Egypt CEO Iyad Al Taiyeb said the company presented the latest AI-based solutions focusing on meticulous diagnosis of patients and relevant care.
He reviewed during the event the role of digital transformation, communication, smart systems and developed technical linkage, like AI and mega data analysis, in order to have the aspired healthcare system.
He said the genuine transition of the health system requires reshaping the sector, whether inside hospitals or in the patients’ communities. He underlined that protection should be a top of priorities.
Within the framework of the company’s interest in developing health services in Egypt, Philips inked a partnership deal with Shifa Hospital.
