The bank’s strategy prioritizes sustainable development aligning with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Egypt Vision 2030, and international standards, she pointed out.
The bank has a mechanism to measure the social impact of its projects to ensure their effectiveness, she said, asserting that the bank will continue supporting various social issues in order to improve the services offered to the Egyptian people.
Meanwhile, the NBE official raised the issue of lack of job opportunities in certain governorates where jobless people are obliged to borrow money to cover their expenses.
