Regional Director of Frankfurt School of Finance and Management Middle East and North Africa Mert Dedebas emphasized that corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability have become extremely essential in the current era.
He made the remarks during a session entitled “How Can Digital Products control and boost the Environmental and Social Performance of Companies?” that was held within the framework of the 15th Egypt CSR and Sustainable Development Forum (15th Egypt CSR Forum) which runs from May 7 to 10.
Dedebas underlined the importance of collaboration among different departments within a company to implement sustainability standards, explaining that this offers a chance to see things from multiple perspectives.
He added that digital transformation and technological changes provide many opportunities to immediately assess sustainability-related matters.
Dedebas clarified that his institution focuses solely on developing the financial sector, such as banking.

Finance and Management has provided management consulting to financial institutions in Egypt and the Middle East in addition to offering advisory services to the financial sector, financial institutions, and banks, he noted.
