Mars, through Mars Impact Fund, has committed $1 million to help deliver more than 200,000 meals to families affected by the recent earthquakes in northern Venezuela.

The funding will be channeled through the World Central Kitchen (WCK), which has been serving fresh meals to communities impacted by the disaster.

Broader relief effort:

The grant complements Mars’ wider humanitarian response across the region. The company’s South America businesses have donated more than five tons of food and pet food through local food banks, while the Royal Canin Foundation is supporting canine search-and-rescue teams. Mars is also assisting Venezuelan employees whose families were affected and backing additional emergency response efforts through its pet care businesses.

WCK scales up response:

A long-term partner of Mars since 2022, WCK activated its relief operation within hours of the earthquakes. The organization has already served nearly 500,000 meals across the affected states of Miranda, La Guaira, and Carabobo, working with more than 50 local restaurant partners to support displaced families and first responders.
