Taha Khalifa, General Manager of Intel Corporation in the Middle East and North Africa, said the company trained over one million teachers from educational institutions on the technological bases for upgrading the quality of education.
In statements to CSR Egypt, he said the firm also works on training students to vie at innovation contests, like Intel science engineering contests for innovation.
The company also seeks to qualify students to join the international conference in the US.
Khalifa said the company also launched a new social initiative “Intel Skills Corporation” for training students to labor market skills which are required for modern jobs.
The program is implemented in four stages; coordination with decision makers at schools, training teachers on modern technology, securing 140 hours for training students and means of applying the program at large in various governorates.
