Egypt’s First International Conference on Pedagogical Innovation and Technology Enhanced Learning will open in Alexandria on October 26 under the theme of “Transforming into a Culture of Student Centered Learning Through Enabling Technologies.”
Alexandria University announced that it will arrange the two-day event within the framework of Egypt’s declaration that 2019 will be the year of education.
ُEgypt is keen on developing its educational system in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goal 4 on quality education.
The conference will bring together researchers, experts and practitioners who are practicing and promoting pedagogical innovations; and who are modeling, designing, prototyping, implementing and evaluating Technology Enhanced Learning solutions in higher education.
The get-together will review pedagogical strategies, policies and practices as well as research papers, system descriptions, demonstrations and tutorials in the domain.
The conference will focus on the crucial role of Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Engineering and Emerging Technologies, in general, in designing and building Technology Enhanced Learning systems and tools to serve the Student Centered University Objective.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Alexandria University will organize an exhibition on the stories of success of teaching staffs in adopting student-centered learning approach.
