EcoVadis, CO2 AI team up for better Scope 3 emissions tracking
EcoVadis and CO2 AI have partnered to help companies improve Scope 3 emissions tracking and accelerate supply-chain decarbonization by combining supplier-specific carbon data with AI-powered emissions analysis.
From estimates to primary data:
The partnership integrates EcoVadis’ supplier carbon ratings and primary emissions data into CO2 AI’s footprinting platform, allowing customers to move beyond spend-based estimates and industry averages toward more precise, supplier-level emissions data.
The collaboration aims to address a key challenge in Scope 3 accounting: the lack of granular data on individual suppliers. By bringing EcoVadis’ carbon data into CO2 AI, companies can identify high-impact suppliers, track emissions performance and strengthen the basis for audit-ready reporting.

Building carbon data network:
The partnership is part of EcoVadis’ broader Carbon Data Network initiative, which enables procurement teams to connect suppliers’ primary emissions data with Scope 3 reporting.
The network is part of EcoVadis’ Carbon Action Manager solution, which also includes its Product Carbon Footprint Calculator and tools for supplier data collection, collaboration and upskilling.
“Procurement teams have long been held back by the quality of their Scope 3 data,” said Charlotte Degot, CEO and co-founder of CO2 AI. “By combining EcoVadis’ supplier network with CO2 AI’s footprinting engine, we’re giving companies the granularity they need to move from compliance reporting to real decarbonization progress.”
Putting supplier data to work:
A global hospitality group that uses both platforms can now access company-level and primary emissions data from strategic suppliers through EcoVadis directly within CO2 AI.
The integration allows supplier emissions data and product carbon footprints collected through EcoVadis to flow into CO2 AI’s footprinting engine. Companies can access different levels of supplier data in one platform and replace secondary estimates with primary data to track the impact of supplier-level emissions reductions.
Better Scope 3.1 visibility:
For procurement and sustainability teams, the partnership provides a more detailed view of Scope 3.1 emissions based on supplier-specific data rather than industry averages. It also helps companies identify which suppliers are reducing emissions and strengthens the data foundation for emissions reporting and audits.
