e& Egypt has launched its “Farhet El-Eid” initiative in collaboration with Ahl Masr Foundation and the Egyptian Clothing Bank, aiming to bring the spirit of Eid Al Adha closer to burn survivors and their families through community-focused activities and support initiatives.
The initiative was implemented in partnership with Ahl Masr Center for Inclusion and Empowerment, affiliated with Ahl Masr Foundation and Hospital for Burn Treatment, as part of e& Egypt’s broader strategy to strengthen its social impact and deepen engagement with local communities.
The program began at e& Egypt’s headquarters, where company employees participated in a volunteering day dedicated to preparing and packaging new clothing in cooperation with the Egyptian Clothing Bank.
The activity reflected the company’s focus on embedding volunteerism and community engagement within its corporate culture, positioning social responsibility as an ongoing commitment rather than a seasonal effort.
The initiative later expanded to Ahl Masr Center for Inclusion and Empowerment through a celebration designed for burn survivors and their families.
Activities included entertainment programs for children and families, distribution of clothing and gifts, and visits to patients in the care unit, aiming to share the spirit of Eid and create moments of comfort and inclusion during the holiday.
According to Ahmed Imbabi, the initiative reflects e& Egypt’s commitment to delivering sustainable social impact through partnerships with institutions that have direct expertise and established community presence.
The company said the initiative aligns with its wider approach to strengthening social solidarity and promoting inclusion, particularly as the role of the private sector in supporting humanitarian and social causes continues to expand.
e& Egypt added that the initiative was driven by its belief that small human-centered moments can have a lasting impact on individuals and communities.
