Mitsubishi Electric India is determined towards fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and has been focusing on necessities for bringing a change in people’s life.
Mitsubishi Electric is supporting the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which compiles the basic needs of society and relates with Government of India Initiatives.
Ahmedabad is among the largest cities of India and is regarded as one of the fastest-growing cities of India as well. Mitsubishi would like to be a part of the development story of the city and extend its support through its CSR initiatives as well, apart from the direct business presence it already has in Ahmedabad since 2010.
Mitsubishi Electric India selected two schools Makarba Primary School, Makarba, Ahmedabad, and Devnagar Prathmik Vidhyalaya, Ahmedabad, Gujarat for the Clean Drinking Water Program. The water ecosystem installation included water RO, water Cooler, water tank andwater drinking bay for the students.
Through this activity, approx.775 children will benefit and will have access to clean drinking water at school premises. Around 30 employees of Mitsubishi Electric India and 5NGO volunteers joined in the inauguration ceremony at the two schools.
Katsunori Ushiku, Managing Director, Mitsubishi Electric India Pvt. Ltd, said,“Mitsubishi Electric India is trying to support societies though our product offerings and philanthropic activities like these. By this small initiative of ours, we are trying to deliver the necessities to the school going children.Thus, safeguarding the future of our country.”
Mitsubishi Electric is dedicated towards fulfilling the basic needs of the society through its CSR initiatives and will continue to do so in future.
