CSR Chief announces launch of financing program with CIB to back SMEs

Hassan Moustafa, Board Chairman of CSR Egypt and Head of the first Egypt Business Solutions Summit, announced launching a financing program in collaboration with the CIB to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which apply environmental sustainability standards.

Moustafa added that the summit’s recommendations also included launching an online training program to present solutions to small businesses in collaboration with Techne Summit for bolstering SMEs and entrepreneurs.

Moustafa said the recommendations included establishing a specialized bourse for SMEs trading and enacting needed laws.

He called on the government to focus on supporting SMEs and startups and endorsing needed laws for their success in addition to securing needed financing.
