Bicyclists gather for Moonlight Ride for Hunger
Bicyclists filled the streets of Quincy for the third annual Moonlight Ride for Hunger Saturday evening.
The ride benefited Horizons Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry in Quincy.
Hundreds of bicyclists rode over the Bayview and Memorial Bridge.
“It’s an incredible opportunity to get across the bridges with them lit up at night, it’s gorgeous and I wanted to come back for a second year,” participant Andrew Skattevo said.
Officials with the event said they were hoping to raise $40,000.
They added the nice weather helped for last minute bicyclist to join the ride.
