B.TECH, the largest specialized distributor, and seller of electrical and electronic appliances in Egypt, allocated EGP 28 million for corporate social responsibility (CSR) investments in 2022, marking a 3 million pound rise in comparison with the previous year.
B.TECH Board Chairman Mahmoud Khattab said the company’s CSR investments recorded EGP 122 million in the period from 2017 until the end of 2022.
He noted that the company partnered with the Egyptian Food Bank to provide 10,000 food parcels to needy families during the 2022 holy fasting month of Ramadan.
The action falls within the framework of the company’s CSR program and its strategy which aims at achieving the sustainable development goals.
Khattab said “Our partnership with the Food Bank has been extending for years with an aim to serve the Egyptian community and achieve sustainable development in order to ensure decent life for needy people nationwide.”
B.TECH is working under an ambitious strategy aiming to reach all governorates to create job opportunities for youths and increase the number of its stores to be close to its clients.
So far, the company has 120 branches in 25 governorates and offers mini-cash service for purchasing instantly and paying overtime in easy monthly installments.
