Amer Group embraces social responsibility
Businessman Mansour Amer underlined that Amer Group has always embraced social responsibility.
In an interview with CSR on the fringe of a conference organized by Amer Group, he said the company has a special fund for charity works and social activities.
He expounded that the group’s board is the one in charge of deciding the humanitarian cases which need help as well as means of supporting national development.
The company also offers support to its employees if they are in need for help, he said, noting that the company is keen on observing the ethics of work.
During a meeting on Monday, the Amer Group board appointed former transportation minister Hisham Arafaat as the board chairman in succession of Mansour Amer, the founder of the group, who filed his resignation. The rest of the board remained as it is.
Mansour Amer said he is proud that he founded the group that managed to realize great development.
He added that it is time to give a chance to a new leadership to spearhead a robust development strategy in various sectors of the company, including real estate, malls and hotels.
Mansour said he is proud of all the company’s employees and the achievements they realized.
