40 Egyptian youths participate in Berlin University’s ULC in El Gouna

Forty youths from various Egyptian governorate participate in the Urban Lab Camp (ULC) II – which is a ten-days technical internship provided by Berlin University of Technology at Campus El Gouna for fresh graduates and young professionals of universities in Egypt.

The ULC II follows the first event of this format in July/August 2017. It focuses on Urban Development including also relevant fields of Water and Energy Engineering.

Special focus is given to cultural, arts and heritage dimensions of urban development with an excursion and workshop in El Quseir/Red Sea.

The program is sponsored by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung and Sawiris Foundation For Social Development.

Program Manager Waleed Mansour said the camp – which adopts the Sustainable Development – offers a good chance for standing on up-to-date planning ideas as well as exchanging views with expertise in sustainable development and Climate Change.
