The 15th edition of Egypt CSR and Sustainable Development Forum (15th Egypt CSR Forum) kicked off on Wednesday under the theme of “Leadership Towards Sustainable Impact and Growth”.
A cluster of ministers, sustainability and CSR experts and business leaders participate in the forum which is held at the Tolip El Galala Majestic Hotel in the Red Sea resort city of Ain Sokhna from May 7 to 10.
A number of panel discussions and specialized workshops will be held within the framework of the forum with special focus on various sustainability sectors.
The forum will discuss key challenges and available opportunities in various sectors.
The forum will also tackle vital issues, such as the principles of sustainable leadership, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) standards, sustainable finance, and carbon markets.
The forum will also review sustainable reports and strategies in line with S1 and S2 standards, as well as strategies of social responsibility and social impact.
The forum also sheds light on the importance of inclusion and measuring social impact.
The 15th edition of the forum places special emphasis on vital issues, like exports and access to global markets through compliance with sustainability standards and international certifications, and the role of green supply chains in reducing environmental footprints.
The forum also explores the importance of sustainability in sectors, such as construction, agriculture, and petrochemicals.
For over a decade, the annual forum has served as an interactive and pivotal platform for the professional community engaged in sustainability in Egypt, aiming to raise awareness, build institutional capacities, and enhance collaboration among all parties concerned with the development ecosystem.
The previous editions of the forum have been successful and came up with effective partnerships, and impactful initiatives.
