The QS World University Rankings are not just iconic institutions that take the top spots; this year’s highest rankings include universities from diverse locations across Europe, Asia and North America.
The rankings are the fast and easy way to compare institutions on a host of different criteria; from academic reputation to the number of international students enrolled.
The fourteen Egyptian universities include The American University in Cairo, Cairo University, Ain Shams University, Alexandria University, Assiut University, Future University in Egypt, Al-Azhar University, the British University in Egypt, the German University in Cairo, Helwan University, Mansoura University, Suez Canal University, Tanta University, and Zagazig University
Six of the Egyptian universities on the 2023 QS World University Rankings copped bronze sustainability medals for their environmental impact.
The six universities are Cairo University, Ain Shams University, Alexandria University, Mansoura University, Tanta University, and Zagazig University.
The top 10 universities on the 2023 QS World Rankings included Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), University of Cambridge, Stanford University, University of Oxford, Harvard University, California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Imperial College London, UCL, ETH Zurich, and University of Chicago.
