Mounia Attiga, Energy and Sustainability Strategist Chair of Lean In Equity and Sustainability – North Africa, said that the digital transformation revolution is pushing forward the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
She made the remarks during the first session of the 15th Egypt CSR and Sustainable Development (15th Egypt CSR Forum) under the theme of “How Can Digital Products control and boost the Environmental and Social Performance of Companies?”.
Attiga urged institutions to take steps to link indicators of sustainable standards’ tools instead of working in isolation.
She highlighted the remarkable global progress in information technology and the increasing reliance on artificial intelligence by many institutions.
She emphasized the importance of collaboration between different sectors and sustainability departments to achieve the global SDGs.
She said investment should focus on capacity building so that teams become prepared to use technology and data analysis in order to issue transparent and accurate reports.
