Ministers Ashraf Sobhi of Youth and Sports, Mohamed Saafan of Manpower and Nabila Makram of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates inaugurated on Monday the 10th annual Forum for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable Development – known as CSR Forum.
The event – organized by CSR Egypt – is held under the theme of “Responsible Investment Gate for Recovering and Overcoming Crises.”
The forum tackles a number of key issues on CSR and Sustainable Development.
The first session of the forum addresses means of accelerating the implementation of Sustainable Development plans in Egypt and promoting effective partnerships in various sectors to accomplish these plans.
The forum focuses on a number of issues on means of realizing development in the fields of education, health and small and medium sized enterprises as well as supporting entrepreneurship.
The forum is scheduled to thrash out mechanisms of expediting the implementation of the national plan for achieving sustainable development in Egypt in 2030 as well as the role of the private sector in propping up the recycling mechanism.
The 10th forum brings to limelight the importance of the business community’s adoption of the principles of responsible investment and corporate citizenship in addition to reviewing the best practices and the efforts exerted to surpass the pandemic crisis.
