Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad opened on Monday the third Forum on Strategies for Transition to Green Economy – which is organized by CSR Egypt under the patronage of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli.
The forum – under the theme of “Sustainable Financing and Green Investment” – aims to create opportunities and effective partnerships among the parties concerned and those interested in achieving sustainable development in the country in addition to giving a push to the shift towards green economy and circular economy in order to face future risks.
The forum represents an interactive platform for the parties concerned with green growth to discuss various issues related to realizing green recovery and accelerating sustainable economic growth efforts in various sectors.
The forum also addresses means of creating opportunities in the fields of recycling, sustainable agriculture, and clean energy.
The event also tackles the challenges besetting the achievement of these goals as well as means of implementing the Egypt 2030 Vision and magnifying the benefit of Egypt’s potentials.
For his part, CSR CEO Hassan Moustafa – the forum organizer – said the forum is held within the framework of propping up state efforts to achieve sustainable development.
Moustafa highlighted keenness of the premier and the ministers of planning and environment to lay down a green recovery strategy, noting that this necessitates rallying efforts of all the institutions concerned.
