Electrolux participates in initiative for backing poor families in Egypt
Electrolux Group, a pioneering international company for home appliance manufacturer, is taking part in an initiative for supporting and empowering vulnerable families in Egypt.
Electrolux is engaged in the initiative launched by Focus Group under the patronage of the Ministry of Social Solidarity during the holy fasting month of Ramadan to help poor families.
Under the initiative, foodstuff packages are distributed among most needy families in various areas.
Electrolux’s participation in this pivotal overture highlighted the importance of companies’ CSR role to support needy segments and spread awareness about the effectiveness of CSR activities, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
This also conforms to the Sustainable Development Goals and the State’s approach to buttress most needy families under the presidential initiative “Decent Life”.
Electrolux – with its Zanussi trademark – participated in the initiative to entrench the values of voluntary and social work among its workers who contributed to packing the food cartons offered under such important social initiative.
