Ms. Sherin SaadAllah is Senior Resource Mobilization and Partnership Adviser at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Arab States Regional Office (ASRO). Before Joining ASRO, Ms. SaadAllah was Senior Desk Adviser for Arab States at UNFPA Headquarters in NY, USA (2011-2013). From 2008 onward, Ms. SaadAllah occupied the position of Special Assistant to the Under Secretary General of UN and Executive Director of UNFPA. She joined UNFPA in 2005, as a Programme Specialist with the Division for Arab States, Europe and Central Asia. Ms. SaadAllah worked with a Swedish INGO, Foundation of Women’s Forum (2000-05), in various positions the latest of which was as Executive Director for International Development Cooperation. Prior to her work in the International Development field, Ms. SaadAllah served as a diplomat within the Egyptian Foreign Service.
Ms. Saadallah holds a Master of Science degree in Political Science from Stockholm University , and a Master of Arts in International Development from Terry Sanford Institute for Public Policy – Duke University . Ms. SaadAllah Holds a BA in Political Science from the American University in Cairo.
