Moustafa Zamzam, the head of the Second Egypt Business Solutions Summit, said small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)<\/a> secure about 75 percent of job opportunities in Egypt and represent 80 percent of the gross domestic product.<\/p>\n

He made the remarks during the opening session of the Second Egypt Business Solutions Summit<\/a> which kicked off on Monday under the theme of \u201cFill the Gap\u201d with the participation of Ministers Yasmine Fouad of Environment and Soha Gendi of Emigration.<\/p>\n

Zamzam highlighted the importance of addressing the challenges facing SMEs in light of their major contribution to combating terrorism.<\/p>\n

Zamzam said the summit focuses on mechanisms of accelerating economic growth amid current challenges, topped by financial and legislative gaps.<\/p>\n

The summit also reviews promising investment opportunities and introduces incentives to boost investment in the coming period.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
