It has been a partner of the EBRD since 2017, when it signed its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebrd.com\/work-with-us\/projects\/psd\/banque-misr-sme-loan-and-tfp.html\">first small business loan<\/a>, followed by a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebrd.com\/news\/2018\/ebrd-fosters-international-trade-in-egypt.html\">trade finance facility<\/a>\u00a0in 2018, a $ 200 million financing package for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebrd.com\/news\/2020\/ebrd-fosters-private-businesses-in-egypt-.html\">trade and on-lending to SMEs<\/a>\u00a0in 2020 and a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebrd.com\/news\/2022\/ebrd-promotes-green-investments-in-egypts-small-businesses.html\">US$ 100 million loan for green financing<\/a>\u00a0in 2022.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Egypt is a founding member of the EBRD.
