Board member of the Egyptian Private Equity Association (EPEA)<\/a> Haitham Wagih said several challenges are besetting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), topped by applying governance standards.<\/p>\n

Addressing the first Egypt Business Solutions Summit on Monday, Wagih noted that the World Bank revealed that 50 percent of SMEs<\/a> need to apply governance as well as financing of up to 20 percent of the firm’s activities.<\/p>\n
