PepsiCo<\/a> Egypt announced sponsoring Enactus Egypt for the second straight year. Ain Shams University ranked the top this year.<\/p>\n

Helwan University came in the second position, while the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in the third position.<\/p>\n

This came during a ceremony for distributing awards in the presence of PepsiCo CEO Mohamed Shelbaya who was selected as a member of the Enactus Egypt arbitration committee.<\/p>\n

Shelbaya\u2019s selection came in appreciation of the role played by PepsiCo in promoting youth capabilities in various domains.<\/p>\n

Shelbaya expressed happiness for the company\u2019s participation in the event which contributes to backing and developing youths\u2019 skills in order to be able to join the labor market in addition to turning their ideas and dreams into projects on the ground.<\/p>\n

This goes in line with company\u2019s strategy for supporting and empowering youths, he said, lauding the capabilities of youths taking part in the competition.<\/p>\n

He noted that youths represent 60 percent of the Egyptian community, highlighting the importance of magnifying the role of the state, private sector and civil society organizations in supporting youths in accordance with Egypt Vision 2030.<\/p>\n

He also noted that the company this year did not only offer financial support, but also morale and knowledge support for competitors.<\/p>\n

Shelbaya added that the company has also launched \u201cRecycle for Tomorrow\u201d contest in order to encourage youths to put into effect their new and innovative ideas for solving the environmental problems to achieve sustainable development.<\/p>\n

PepsiCo Egypt is offering full support to youths via several social development programs, like Egypt hackathon 2030 which aimed at offering knowledge and financial support for entrepreneurs to offer them a chance for implementing innovative projects contributing to solve the key challenges facing the community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
