The Housing and Development Bank (HDB)<\/a> sponsored a charitable celebration held by the Yasmin El Samra Foundation for Epidermolysis Bullosa Patients in Egypt in tandem with the Rotary Club.<\/p>\nThe celebration aims to spread awareness about this rare disease and its impact on children and their dire need for special care.<\/p>\n
The bank\u2019s Board Chairman Hassan Ghanem said that the bank has been cooperating with the Yasmin Foundation since 2019, noting it has been a key supporter and strategic partner to the foundation.<\/p>\n
He stressed that the bank\u2019s support for the foundation stems from its belief in its role in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR).<\/p>\n
The bank has been backing of the health sector via launching several effective initiatives and buttressing hospitals and charitable institutions.<\/p>\n
The bank also participates in protocols that aim at creating sustainable and positive impact on society, he said.<\/p>\n
The foundation and the Rotary Club honored Ghanem in appreciation of the bank\u2019s support and ongoing efforts to serve society, support charitable associations and participate in initiatives aiming to realize a tangible impact in society.<\/p>\n
Head of the HDB’s communications department Jihan Goweli received the honoring on behalf of Ghanem.<\/p>\n
