The SAIB bank decided to sponsor the 30-day virtual sports challenge which was announced by Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi within the framework of its corporate social responsibility\u00a0(CSR)<\/a> activities.<\/p>\n

SAIB Board Chairman and Managing Director Tareq Kholi said the bank will issue pre-paid\u00a0cards for all participants in the challenge and these cards will be charged by financial\u00a0gifts.<\/p>\n

The gifts will be added as credit in the cards, he said, noting that this is meant to encourage youths to practice sports and support financial inclusion.<\/p>\n

He added that the bank’s support for the activities of the Youth and Sports Ministry is part of its backing of the state’s national development plans in various fields and sectors.<\/p>\n

Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi announced during a press conference the launch of the\u00a0second edition of the 30-day virtual sports challenge in February.<\/p>\n

The challenge includes a group of sports such as walking, running, and biking, in addition to activities suitable for people with special needs, added Sobhi.<\/p>\n

The participants, who complete the challenge, will get medals and certificates, he pointed out.<\/p>\n

The challenge\u00a0aims at encouraging all family members to play games and practice sports at any places they choose, according to him.<\/p>\n

The ministry is adopting a policy aimed at establishing sport activities as a lifestyle in the society, Sobhi said.<\/p>\n
