It is also a subsidiary of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.viohalco.com\/\">Viohalco<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Noval Property\u2019s green bond, which is listed on the Athens Stock Exchange, is aligned with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.icmagroup.org\/sustainable-finance\/the-principles-guidelines-and-handbooks\/green-bond-principles-gbp\/\">International Capital Market Association\u2019s (ICMA) Green Bond Principles<\/a>, and will help strengthen corporate climate governance, while supporting transparency and integrity in the development of the local green capital market.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The issuance advances Noval Property\u2019s strategy to scale up by providing funding to pursue new investments and property developments, while diversifying its funding sources and restructuring its balance sheet.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">As part of the project, Noval Property has committed to invest the EBRD\u2019s proceeds in financing green-certified assets, achieving at least\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usgbc.org\/help\/what-leed\">LEED<\/a>\u00a0\u201cGold\u201d or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breeam.com\/\">BREEAM<\/a>\u00a0\u201cVery Good\u201d certification.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Vlaho Kojakovic, EBRD Head of Property and Tourism, said: \u201cWe are very excited to support Noval Property in its inaugural step to access the green debt capital markets and in widening its investment portfolio.
