eco-friendly<\/a> with low-carbon emissions in addition to halving fuel consumption.<\/p>\nTerilla Chairman Mahmoud Qandil said the new vehicles were originally manufactured to operate by natural gas. These vehicles were tried in several European countries and proved to be efficient.<\/p>\n
Qandil added that these vehicles will help save hard currency in Egypt as it has large reserves of natural gas.<\/p>\n
He noted that the company agreed with the Social Fund for Development to secure 20 vehicles for youths to help generating jobs.<\/p>\n
The company launched the natural gas-powered heavy vehicle during the first \u00a0exhibition for the vehicles’ clean energy conversion and replacement technologies \u2013 which opened today and will last for three days.<\/p>\n
