Attijariwafa Bank<\/a> was named as the “Top CSR<\/a> Performer” in 2020, for the 4th consecutive year, by Vigeo Eiris – the European leader in extra-financial rating.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
This ranking rewards the companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, whose social responsibility approaches are the most advanced, and which have thus obtained the best scores according to the Vigeo Eiris reference framework for their capacity to integrate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors in their management system.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The rating reference framework includes more than 38 criteria covering six areas; Human Capital, Human Rights, Environment, Market Behavior, Governance and Social Commitment, the bank said in a statement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Indeed, Attijariwafa bank presents scores among the highest of the market in the following criteria of “Offer of green products and services”, “Continuous improvement of employees\u2019 skills and employability”, and “Assurance of fair treatment of shareholders.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Attijariwafa bank is also maintained in the ESG10 index of the Casablanca Stock Exchange, which it has been part of since its launch in September 2018.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Revised on a yearly basis, this index gathers the ten most socially responsible companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, following their evaluation by Vigeo Eiris.
