{"id":58565,"date":"2020-08-30T20:08:13","date_gmt":"2020-08-30T18:08:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.csregypt.com\/?p=58565"},"modified":"2020-08-30T20:08:13","modified_gmt":"2020-08-30T18:08:13","slug":"orange-offers-egp100000-annually-to-back-friska-seller-in-university-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csregypt.com\/en\/orange-offers-egp100000-annually-to-back-friska-seller-in-university-study\/","title":{"rendered":"Orange offers EGP100,000 annually to back friska seller in university study"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Head of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.csregypt.com\/en\/orange-egypt-donates-egp-5-m-to-support-poor-families\/\">Orange<\/a> Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Public Relations (PR) <a href=\"https:\/\/eg.linkedin.com\/in\/hala-abdel-wadood-03ba08145\">Hala Abdel Wadood<\/a> said the company has allocated EGP 100,000 annual grant to Ibrahim Saber \u2013 a young man who used to sell friska in Alexandria to earn his living \u2013 in order to continue his study at the faculty of medicine.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Saber managed to get very high marks \u2013 99.6 percent &#8211; in the secondary stage, thus qualifying him to join the faculty of medicine at Alexandria University.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Wadood said the grant offered by Orange is meant to help Saber attend scientific courses and get needed equipment for his study.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Wadood said \u201cWe give you the money, but we do not want an ordinary doctor, we want another Magy Yacoub.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Higher Education Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar has offered Saber a full scholarship.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The minister said Saber deserves all support because he is hard worker and is pursuing his dream.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Abdel Ghaffar said the ministry will offer all needed support for Saber whom \u2013 he described as a distinguished student.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">A video went viral on social media showing Saber saying that he managed to get this high marks despite selling friska on Alex beach to help his father.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Head of Orange Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Public Relations (PR) Hala Abdel Wadood said the company has allocated EGP 100,000 annual grant to Ibrahim Saber \u2013 a young man who used to sell friska in Alexandria to earn his living \u2013 in order to continue his study at the faculty of medicine.
