The political leadership has allocated a financing package for supporting the Egyptian economy standing at 2 percent of the total Gross Domestic Product. This has contributed to mitigating the impact of the crisis and backing most affected sectors and needy people.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: black;\">The minister expounded that good and balanced dealing with the repercussions of the coronavirus crisis has called on foreign investors to strongly return since mid-June, and to inject more investments into government securities in Egypt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; box-sizing: border-box; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px; text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: black;\">He added that \u201cEgypt is one of very few countries that managed to realize such positive growth rate during 2020,\u201d noting that the growth rate in Egypt is one of the highest at international level.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: black;\">He added that this growth rate has also contributed to cutting debt-to-GDP ratio during the 2019-2020 fiscal year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif'; color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JB Morgan commended Egypt\u2019s economic performance as the sole country in the Middle East and Africa to retain investors\u2019 confidence during the coronavirus crisis.
