International Finance Magazine named \u200bBanque Misr<\/a>\u00a0 as the best Egyptian bank in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in 2020.<\/p>\n

The bank won the same award in 2017 and 2019.<\/p>\n

The International Finance\u00a0Magazine\u00a0 – a premium business and finance magazine published by UK\u2019s\u00a0International Finance Publications Limited \u2013 selects the winners according to a number of international banking standards having to do with the bank\u2019s performance and \u00a0strategy as well as its \u00a0CSR activities and the standpoints of a cluster of analysts and international bankers.<\/p>\n

Winning of this award for the third time underlined Banque Misr\u2019s pioneering role in the CSR score.<\/p>\n

Banque Misr has a record in the CSR domain and it is one of the most aware institutions of the environmental and social responsibilities as well as good governance regulations which integrate with its sustainability march.<\/p>\n

Banque Misr is the first state-owned bank to abide by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)<\/a> – an independent international organization that has pioneered sustainability reporting since 1997, and the United National Global Compact – a\u00a0UN\u00a0initiative that establishes ten general principles for companies’\u00a0CSR\u00a0activities.<\/p>\n

Banque Misr spent about EGP 760 million in the social development score in the 2018-2019 fiscal year and about EGP 800 million in the 2019-2020 fiscal year.<\/p>\n

Banque Misr copped the award of the best Egyptian bank in the CSR domain in 2020 and 2019 from the Global Banking and Finance Review.<\/p>\n

The bank was also named as the best bank in Egypt in the CSR domain in 2018 and the best in the field of environmental sustainability in 2019 by the Global Business Outlook.<\/p>\n

The International Business Magazine named the bank as the best bank in Egypt in the CSR domain in 2018 and 2019.<\/p>\n

These awards crown the bank\u2019s painstaking efforts and underline its pioneering role in the CSR domain. The bank has largely contributed to Egypt\u2019s prosperity and well-fare since its establishment.<\/p>\n
