Italy represents the largest share of the allocation, with capacity exceeding 350MW.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Expanding battery storage:<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The refinancing will provide Sonnedix with a platform to expand its hybridisation strategy, including the development of battery storage alongside its<a href=\"https:\/\/csregypt.com\/en\/pv-solar-system-installed-in-egyptian-community-school-to-serve-sdgs\/\"> solar PV<\/a> portfolio.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The company said the approach will help it expand its storage capabilities, reach new customers, and strengthen the flexibility, resilience, and value of its renewable energy platform.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">The transaction was formalized with the participation of AIB, CACIB, CIBC, ING, Intesa Sanpaolo, Sabadell, Santander CIB, Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale, and UniCredit.<\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Sonnedix on the deal:<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cThis financing reflects Sonnedix&#8217;s commitment to developing high quality renewable projects in our strategic markets. It follows our recent BESS portfolio acquisition in Italy, and underscores the pace at which we are scaling our storage capabilities across Europe,\u201d said Axel Thiemann, CEO of Sonnedix.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left;\">Miguel A. Garc\u00eda Mascu\u00f1\u00e1n, CFO of Sonnedix, said: \u201cA \u20ac730 million financing is a major milestone for Sonnedix, offering significant financial flexibility and capacity to accelerate our development pipeline across core markets.
