The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) will launch on June 17 the Quality Infrastructure for Sustainable Development (QI4SD) Index.
The index launch will mark the 2022 World Accreditation Day themed “Sustainability in Economic Growth and the Environment”.
The index is developed within the framework of the Global Quality and Standards Program (GQSP), which is funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), in collaboration with partners from the International Network on Quality Infrastructure (INetQI).
The index measures the contribution of Quality Infrastructure towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As such, indicators are aggregated into the “3Ps”, namely Prosperity (economic dimension), People (social dimension), and Planet (environmental dimension).
