Tatweer Misr CEO Ahmed Shalaby said the company’s Bloomfields educational project – to be implemented at total investments of EGP 10 billion – will be implemented under the company’s vision to realize sustainable development.
In statements to CSR Egypt, he said the company has been committed to developing education under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy.
Heavyweight teachers from international universities will join this educational edifice.
Earlier Monday, Shalaby held a press conference to announce details of Bloomfields.
During the press conference, Shalaby said a total of EGP 3.5 billion investments will be injected into the first stage of the company’s Bloomfields educational project.
The first stage of the project will be implemented between 2026 and 2027, he said.
When the 90-feddan-area project is accomplished, it will become the largest educational area in the Middle East and North Africa.
Tatweer Misr signed an MOU with Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) to develop an entrepreneurship and innovation hub at Bloomfields in Mostakbal City, Tatweer Misr’s latest development in Cairo.
GEN is a platform of programs and initiatives that help align a varied collection of players, programs, and information to better support entrepreneurship.
Located on the 90-acre University campus, the entrepreneurship and innovation hub will host several technology labs, “state-of-the-art” work stations, co-working spaces, think tanks, gyms, lounges, boardrooms, training rooms, and an atrium which will be used for networking and events.
It will be home to many partners, with offerings such as, but not limited to, Executive Education Programs, Training Programs, and Lecture Series.
Tatweer Misr believes that education is not only a vital catalyst towards a sustainable and comprehensive future. To be able to create a youthful and a vibrant environment, Tatweer Misr opens numerous opportunities with strategic stakeholders offering a combination of Undergraduate and Graduate degree programs and Executive Education certificates, in establishment of its educational zone. The company’s prolonged vision is to ensure a diversity in education and a complete ecosystem, with several prestigious US and European universities.
