Shelbaya stated “PepsiCo has been operating in Egypt for 75 years, becoming an integral part of the Egyptian community. We have many programs that reflect our societal role, as we strive to add value to Egyptian society. We prioritize community development, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, we contributed to the collective effort, launching the campaign ‘Gathering for Good to Feed Millions’. Last year, we collaborated with Al Manfaz and the Egyptian Food Bank. For the second consecutive year, in collaboration with Al Manfaz, we continue our journey of bringing happiness to homes during Ramadan by distributing over 2 million meals in 10 governorates in Egypt.”
He added “Filling Hearts initiative reflects the true spirit of the holy month of Ramadan, reinforcing the bonds of authentic societal values of cooperation and solidarity. This large number of meals provided by this initiative ensures reaching the largest number of deserving individuals during Ramadan to bring joy and happiness to their homes.”
