Orange Egypt introduced “Go Education” discounted bundle to promote online learning in the country.
As part of its ceaseless efforts to support the State’s efforts to develop education and provide students with the latest technical means compatible with the new education systems, Orange Egypt launched Internet lines and special internet bundles for the 1st secondary school students.
This initiative serves the activation of the “educational tablet” that the Ministry of Education and Technical Education delivered for students of this educational stage.
Thanks to its developed networks and its superior infrastructure, Orange has been on the throne of the fastest communication networks in Egypt, especially with regard to data transmission and mobile Internet speeds, which is a key factor to facilitate students’ access to the educational resources provided by the tablet, whether through the Egyptian Knowledge Bank or the scientific search engine for Knowledge Bank partners and other educational websites.
Offering bundles at discounted prices came in cooperation with the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA) where Orange will provide 1000 MB for only EGP 5 exclusively for students who have an Egyptian educational tablet.
Commenting on this occasion, Ahmed El-Abd, Chief Consumer Officer at Orange Egypt, said that Orange always works hard to back the state’s efforts in developing education, its tools and technologies according to the latest standards, adding that Orange exerts tremendous efforts to place digital technology at the heart of education and professional integration for students and youth, who are always on the top of Orange’s priorities.
